I bought new sunglasses yesterday.¬† They are big & disguise my face.¬† They make me feel like Anna Wintour, editor of Vogue, which basically means I’ve been walking around saying things are IN or OUT with dramatic inflection to my voice.¬†¬† I often confuse Anna Wintour with actress Faye Dunaway in her iconic role as Joan Crawford in Mommie Dearest.¬† Whenever I think of Mommie Dearest I run straight to the nearest closet and yell, “No…..wire….hangers!” and cackle like a witch, which doesn’t happen in the movie, but should.¬† The nearest closet was my husband’s and it was in need of ruthless edits.¬† The following text messages, sent to my unsuspecting husband while judging his wardrobe, should be read in my voice doing Faye Dunaway’s voice doing Joan Crawford’s voice with a little Anna Wintour for good measure!¬† Got that? Good!

Plaid????  Really?
Pray tell me the point of hanging up shirts with holes?
Jeez, are these things tapered?

It is in this spirit that I bring you today’s post:¬† your playlist for September. ¬† Listen to these songs.¬† Why?¬† Because my sunglasses want you to.September_Playlist* Note to self: Watch Mommie Dearest, again.
** My bff The Future Mrs. Darcy does not sanction the use of the Zapfino font.

The Future Mrs. Darcy - Hey you should make that a working playlist because I only know 2 of those songs. I think there’s a way to do it through itunes but I know fitsugar (like in this post: http://www.fitsugar.com/3075244) uses http://www.imeem.com/music/.

The Future Mrs. Darcy - Ok after I posted that I had to look for the itunes way and I haven’t tested it myself but here’s a little ehow on how it should work: http://www.ehow.com/how_4511954_imix-itunes.html

admin - Thanks for the idea, TFMD. I’ve created shareable playlists through iTunes before. I’ll research this further.

This playlist idea has been a really fun creative exercise for myself. And, if someone can discover a new favorite song, well then all the better!

The October playlist is but a seed, germinating nicely. I have an idea for the photograph, a wonderful excuse to do a little night photography. One song occupies the playlist. These things take time…you understand.

I still stand by the Zapfino font.
