An errand forced me into the cold afternoon. I was craving an Awake Tea latte from Starbucks likely due to the gift card singing “Spend me!” from my wallet. I was lucky enough to find an outlet by the window facing the ice skating rink* so all is well in my world. Today I bring you some of my favorite wedding images from last year. You’ll remember Jesse & Katrina’s two-day celebration. Katrina wore a white and black polka dot dancing dress for some shots captured at Hotel Monaco in the Penn Quarter of DC. I must say (and when I say it I will say it like Tim Gunn, because his voice is seared into my brain) it WORKED. I love graphic patterns, dots, stripes, houndstooth, Greek key, Orla Kiely anything. I love them. So does Katrina. In fact, Katrina chose a really gorgeous black and white fabric for her wedding album. I anxiously await its arrival. But probably not as much as Katrina & Jesse do, I suppose!
Speaking of graphic patterns: a little something something** for my other bride, Ariel.
*Note to self – must go ice skating
**No, it’s not watermarked because I just took this with my phone, but ahem….please, mean people of the internet, don’t steal my work.
