Wedding at the Westover Plantation :: Modern Toile Photography

Westover Plantation was the backdrop to a gorgeous wedding. I second shot for Craige & van Roden Photography and developed something of a girl crush on the bride, Tabitha. She had an endearing smile and spoke with a charming southern lilt. Plus, her turquoise tri-buckled shoes were HOT. Her groom, Chris, sang to her during a surprise ceremony serenade. Like whoa. The performance was so unaffected, it genuinely moved me. Sure, I’ll bet Nick Cannon sang to Mariah Carey. I won’t even be cynical and say Nick Cannon didn’t feel it, but he didn’t feel it feel it like Chris did. No amount of media training or Nickelodeon summer stock can train “natural.” Natural comes from the heart. And Chris’ heart was full of love for Tabitha.

Edited to add: Thanks, Emily, for correcting my spelling of Nickelodeon! Enjoy the mountains. See you next week! I almost typed: Enjoy the mountains! but figured three exclamation points was overkill. Toodles. -BCT

KC Ramsay - What a pleasure it was to photograph this wedding with you! You are incredibly gifted, so easy to be and work with, and a lot of fun to be around. I hope we get to collaborate again soon.
